The Glory of the Lord is in this place....

Today as we reflect on what the Lord has done in the midst of us at Calvary Puerto Vallarta we all are truly experiencing "fullness of Joy"! We went to the states in June so Pastor Bill could attend the Senior Pastor's conference and to take maybe our last family vacation together as we get ready to send Estie off to Bible College.  This in itself is a reason for rejoicing as we see the fruit of raising children on the mission field!  We are excited to watch and see what the Lord will do in our kids as they develop their own ministries and lives, solidly established on the Rock.  People have asked, "are you okay with Estie leaving?"  The Lord gave us a word saying, "Estie isn't leaving, she is only changing addresses."  I think our children will always be with us, even in adulthood as our roles will change but the relationship only grows deeper as we come alongside as counselors, friends, and spiritual mentors.  God is good all the time!

While we were in the states, the Lord used Jose Luis Molina to teach the flock in the book of Titus.  Coming from a brother who is strongly grounded in the Lord, firmly rooted in family values, and a strong leader to men, the message was clear and challenging to our body.  We thank the Lord for Jose Luis and his wife Mari for their faithfulness to the Lord in all things.  They work full-time in a landscaping business and it is truly incredible to see how the Lord avails them so much grace to serve in our couple's ministry, youth ministry, children's ministry and women's ministry and as leaders in our church.  The Lord truly gives grace to the humble....

It is such a blessing to watch the Lord provide servants in our fellowship.  With Estie leaving and my nephew Ben and wife Haniel moving back to the states, there was a definite hole in our fellowship as they helped so much in the day to day logistics of serving in the church.  But as they move out, we began to see the other youth and brothers and sisters rise up to continue serving in the work of the ministry!  We always stand in awe of how the Lord demonstrates that He truly is the Lord of the Harvest!  He never allows us to grow to attached or to comfortable with who He has in the church because His ultimate desire is to raise up and send out servants into the harvest.  Our job is to disciple and get them ready to serve where ever the Lord may plant them.  It is such a privilege and a blessing to watch the Lord move in this incredible way.  We look at the ministry at Calvary Chapel PV as a "boot camp" of sorts as there is such an opportunity to learn life-skills and hands on ministry as we watch the Lord bring in new believers into the fold that need mentoring and discipleship.

We got back to PV in the beginning of July, hitting the ground running, anticipating the arrival Calvary Albuquerque's youth team.  The "Vertical" team lead by Pastor Ray Toro arrived two days after we did and working together we had our VBS children's camp a few days later!  What a blessing as we went out 3 days and slept overnight at CCMS one night with 24 youth from our church and the vertical team, and 64 neighbor kids!  Wow!  What a blessing as we saw 10 new children make decisions for Christ.  All the other children are our bible students from church and the school.  It was so much fun to see these children do the work of an evangelist and invite other children from the neighborhood.  We didn't have time to hand out invitations to other children in the neighborhood.  I am sure if we had we would have been overwhelmed with the amount of children that would have shown up.  It was great to see our adolescents who have always been part of the children ministry in the past now old enough to serve as group leaders.  What a blast it was!

We were a bit concerned because the Vertical team provided drama material that we weren't quite sure we would be able to teach our Spanish speakers in a short amount of time.  Estie and Haniel translated it before hand which was a tremendous help.  Funny how even though they are no longer in PV they were still able to contribute!  I thank the Lord for their lives!  We were so blessed because the Lord faithful showed up and the kids were so blessed because He provided new members of our church to step in and fill those spots!  When you watch the Lord work in your life over the years you come to a place of rest knowing that He will show up and provide all we need when we are willing to walk on the water keeping our eyes on Him!

Valeria, Maria Fernanda, Bertha, and Emmanuel doing an incredible job at "Adventure Park" VBS!

"The Spirit of the Lord is in this place!"
Our Captain Miss Mari!

With the combined efforts of a team formed by our friends Tom and Debra Kent, and Dodie Costales, and the Vertical Youth Ministry we were not only able to get VBS accomplished but the whole school got a facelift!  New tile was laid finishing the area above the kitchen and the porches upstairs.  They painted the school and got it ready for the upcoming school year.  It was so beautiful to see the relationships that were formed between the youth, the children, the adults in the church and those visiting!  His banner over us truly is love!

We had a baptism the last week of July...two of our kids from the school along with one mom and a new Christian, Serena from Italy were baptized.  How beautiful are the feet of Him who brings Good  News...We thank the Lord for His marvelous love for men and women and children destined to know Him!  It is just so much fun to be part of those who are able to impart that love and bring people to His beautiful feet!

"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth"
I hope one day many of you could come and visit us to see the marvelous work of His hands in this little part of His world that is truly a big part of His heart!  We thank the Lord daily for the wonders He creates in the midst of His people and for all of you who continuously pray for this ministry.  We thank the Lord for all those that have come to serve alongside us in the work of His ministry here in Calvary Chapel Puerto Vallarta!

Springtime in Calvary PV

How I desire to share with you in words what the Lord is doing in our church in such a way you could feel like you are here with us seeing His marvelous hand working, experiencing the Holy Spirit for yourselves, as He hovers over this place with His incredible power!  Jesus is touching so many corporeally and individually as His word is faithfully shared in different ways and different times, with the adults and with the youth and the children.  It is so incredibly exciting!

We haven’t written in a while simply for lack of extra time…  Time we try to preciously spend in the ministry to His people and to those who will become His!  In February we had a beautiful Couples Valentine's dinner where we shared the movie “Courageous”.  Every man stood up to make the resolution to become more committed husbands and fathers.  It was marvelous!  Our friends Ralph and Deb, Randy and Dodie, and Tom and Debra, Jim and Linda were here from the US to help with the beautiful decorations setup and were hosts for this special event.   It is so beautiful to see the body of Christ come together as one with the same vision to lead others to Christ.
Every one of these events seems to make our own body grow deeper in their walk and love for Jesus and we begin to see the fruit as they themselves become more committed to serving others.  We have had a series of leadership and teachers meetings as we continued to make our plans for the work out at CCMS in Laguna del Valle and in the church.  The message we share is that the Lord has put that place Laguna del Valle in our laps as a church to minister to.  More of our body became more committed to serve out at the mission with the right heart.  The message being that God doesn’t need us but we need Him as we are chosen with the privilege to serve these wonderful families represented by the children.

The fruit?  It has been absolutely astounding!  Because of your prayers and your consistent support we have been able to continue to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of these children and their families.  One example of this is the Valdovinos family.  Dani and Pablito are two little boys that began attending the school because of their older brother Francisco who got saved during Upward Soccer a few years ago.  His little brothers have now been attending consistently for 3 years with their mother Ana.  Because we have a women’s bible study on Friday’s, Ana was given the chance to give her life to Jesus.   This in itself is a very powerful thing because since that decision, the Lord has healed her from physical abuse as a child and unforgiveness towards her abuser.  She changed her lifestyle of “union libre” with the father of her boys.  Her powerful stand has affected her whole family.  How?  Her mother, two sisters and brother have come to Jesus along with all their children!  Her brother has made the decision to marry the woman he was living with and we will be having a “church wedding” in August!  Her mother who is married civilly is trying to convince her husband also to have a Christian ceremony to celebrate their marriage.  Wow!  All of this we is the fruit of the loving care and attention, in the name of Jesus given to Ana’s children at CCMS.  We can also attribute it to the loving hands of those brothers from Calvary Denver who came to do construction on her home and the body at Calvary who have so lovingly received this family.  What a witness!  Ana consistently attends all our events and is willing to serve with an unconditional heart.  You will always see her with her notebook taking notes of all that she hears during bible study…even if it isn’t an event or message that directly applies to her!  We love it and so does her Jesus…!
Then there are Juan Manuel Sr. and Luz del Carmen another powerful testimony of God saving an entire family….  I have written about this family often and how the Lord put them in our midst to help them climb out of extreme poverty.  Not by giving them a handout but by teaching them how to function as a family of Jesus, through basic life skills.  The children had not been in school consistently really ever until we helped enroll them this past fall.  They have 4 school aged children who thanks to the Lord were able to be received into a school that is interested in helping them learn.  This is a very rare thing in this community which has overcrowded classrooms and the children who can only make the grade if the parents really come behind them academically.  Most of the parents do not have higher than a 6th grade education themselves so helping their kids excel is a problem.   Many do but many don’t… Well the Lord is the Lord of the impossible and 4 of the children are making it to the end of the school year with passing grades.  Her second grader Carlitos who has serious disciplinary problems and had never been in school before, is learning to read!  We praise the Lord for His mighty power to change!  Juan Manuel the smartest of the 4 has an 89% average! Chuy who has a learning disability due to the alcoholism of his parents while he was in-vitrio, is now also learning to recognize letters and numbers.  He just turned 13 this last month.  Alejandra the only girl of the family is also growing spiritually and academically.  Dad has come to church now 3 weeks in a row and accepted the Lord!  God is good and will finish the work He has started in each one of us.
Remembering our Passover Lamb!
At Easter we had a beautiful Passover meal with 80 people in attendance.  We were so blessed and surprised that so many came.  Our friend Yael, who is a newly converted Messianic Jew, helped Bill by speaking the prayers of the Passover meal in Hebrew as he taught through the ceremony the death and resurrection of the spotless Lamb.  It was beautiful and very informative for the people in the church.  Then we had our Easter Sunrise Service out at Laguna del Valle in our newly finished upstairs sanctuary that is now functional because of the efforts of so many of you…gathering together laying brick by brick, putting on a roof, tiling a floor, and installing lights . We were able to use it as it all came to completion on the Day of our Lord’s celebration at our Sunrise Service!  It was powerful and we are so blessed to see the Lord use that place for His glory with so many from the church in attendance!  We then had an Easter Service at church with a Resurrection Egg activity afterwards for the kids in a local park.  The beauty of that event was that two families who were there in the park with their kids, were invited to participate and they stayed for the message and received Jesus!  Absolutely beautiful!
The discipleship at the church has also shown incredible fruit in the lives of the body as the Men continue to grow with the help of Self-Confrontation.  The Women are half way through a Joyful Life bible study in the book of Revelation!  What an incredible transforming study this has been for all of us.  Then on Thursday nights we are finishing up the “Truth Project” on video!  Wow!  We would highly recommend this resource to all of you personally or as a group study.  It affirms that the Word of God is the only measure by which we can form our standards for living.   Our friends Jim and Linda Mather continue to work with couples and English speaking men in mentoring-discipleship classes.  What beautiful fruit they bear!  They will be leaving us this week and our hearts with them as we are sad but thankful for the impact they have had on so many with their unconditional love and hearts of service to the Body.  Karen Phoenix taught English again this season and all her students accepted the Lord!
Pastor Bill has been going through the Minor Prophets on Wednesday night and the Letters of Paul on Sunday morning.  Every week someone gets saved and we expect to have a baptism before the end of the month.   The worship has been awesome as we now hear and see the body singing with abandon and as we see many come forward for prayer afterwards.  It has been a beautiful time!
On May 5 and 6th we hosted our Young Women’s Purity Conference and followed up with our Women’s Conference on Saturday in the book of “Ruth” a Lady in Waiting.  The Ladies and young girls learned how becoming a Women of Purity and Conviction will help them to become Women of Virtue and of Patience.  It was beautiful!  Half of the ladies were new and many, many of them made decisions to accept the Lord.  This afternoon, which is Friday, we will be so excited to see what new woman God will add to our Ladies bible study as an answer to what He did at the Conference.  To Him be the Glory!
Tonight we continue our Young Women’s bible study as we will take this month to minister to the young single girls and women separately from the young men.  The girls were so blessed by the teaching last week and are excited to be challenged and at the same time spoiled a little bit by this one on one bible study.  Please pray for purity of heart, brokenness, and restoration in those areas of their lives where they will need it.
Tomorrow the boys will begin a study with Jose Luis Molina and my nephew Benjamin.  They will teach on the “Knights Code of Chivalry”, applying scripture to become the Lord’s gentleman.   We are very excited to see what God does with our young men.  He has developed into His servants and now we can’t wait to see Him transform them more into young men after God’s own heart.

We are so blessed by what God is doing in the Youth at the church…we continue to watch them grow and mature into godly young men and women with a growing heart of service.  The boys were in charge of the kid’s ministry and in serving the women at the conference.  It was awesome to see them do such a great job with such an outstanding attitude!  We had about 40 kids that came with their mothers so it was a huge responsibility.  The kitchen crew also did an incredible job serving the ladies a very delicious and elegant meal.   Great job guys!
The Women’s ministry did a beautiful job in the prep work for the gifts that were given and with all the adornments.  The Ladies at the church are in a place now in their own spiritual walks that when called upon to pray for others they did it with faith and with boldness.  All the women were touched by the power of prayer.  And of course, those of us who were serving through the teaching of the Word always receive the added blessing of digging deep into the Word and end up extra blessed!  It is so exciting to watch the body of Christ fall more in Love with Jesus and with His wonderful Word!  To Him be all the Glory, Honor and Praise!
Well that about sums up our spring!  As you can see God is so faithful and we are all so blessed by what He continues to do.  Please pray for the ministry to continue at such an awesome pace spiritually as we have so many more lives to reach out to!    Our family will be traveling for the month of June and the body needs your prayers as we will be gone.  We know the Lord will be here with our brothers and sisters in Christ as they continue to serve effectively for His kingdom.  We do desire your prayers please.
We hope this finds you all absolutely blessed and touched by God’s spirit in your realm of God’s great planet and we hope to see some of you soon!
     PRAYER REQUESTS:
  • For the spiritual growth for the new believer's.  pray that they would fall in love with God's Word!
  • For the Body at Calvary PV while we are gone in the month of June.  Pray that many would rise up to serve.
  • Pray for church finances as we head into low season in Puerto Vallarta.  Pray that all the church operating expenses will be covered and that the Lord will provide for all Summer Outreach expenses as well.
  • Pray for someone who is capaple to help us in the Church office now that Jim and Linda Mather have left for the summer.  She was our Church administrator.
  • Pray for traveling mercies for our family as we head back to the US for a month to visit our supporting churches.

     PRAISE REPORTS!
  • We have so many reasons to thank you, oh Lord!  You have done great things here in our midst and we are blessed and honored to be able to be a part of your saving love!  Thank you for all the new decisions made for Christ!
  • We thank the Lord for faithfully providing the rent and other operating expenses for the church through your children!  Please bless them and help them to continue to be faithful in their giving!
  • We thank the Lord for the love that He has spread into our body...we really feel those who come into the church feel His strong arm of love shared through the body!
  • Thank you for the work you are doing in the kids at CCMS!  They come because they are falling in love with Jesus, not looking for what they can get!  The material things are a bonus to them but not the motive!  We see their lives changing right before our very eyes!

Rejoicing with the Angels!

April 20, 2012
…..Today we are celebrating Chuy’s birthday.  Chuy really is miracle child from the Lord.  Many of you know his parents, Luz del Carmen and her husband Juan Manuel and their family of six.  Many of you have come to know them on your visits to our church and have taken the time to love them, accept them, and help them as a special family that the Lord gave us as a body to come alongside and be “Good Samaritans” too. Chuy suffered in-vitro alcohol syndrome.  Consequently he has faced speech problems and learning disabilities.
The Lord did a miracle in the life of this family by giving them grace and favor before the school system this past fall.  Chuy had never before completed a year of schooling….he turns 13 today.  Fortunately Mexico has changed their policy in regard to accepting children into the school system without any previous years of elementary school completed.  This is a place where “no child left behind” really has benefited this community of children.  Under the new law all of Luz and Juan’s children were accepted into school.  Well we are into the last quarter of the school year and the kids just received their report cards.  Chuy is passing along with his other 3 brother and sisters.
The biggest struggle for this family has been the extreme poverty they were experiencing and a mother and father who really have just needed someone to come alongside them and to teach them basic life skills and how to walk in Jesus.  Last summer our brother Tom helped by buying a metal roof for them which replaced their cardboard one that leaked like a sieve in the rainy season…two of our young men at church installed it and they are now “in the dry”.   Then a team came in the fall and put in a back patio for them with a bathroom and a shower and an area to wash laundry.  Ohter brothers and sisters have come along the way and helped install plumbing, a kitchen sink and other things.  Amazing how these made incredible “life” changes in the whole family.  Dad works more and mom can now do her housework in a much better environment and the kids can now bathe in a real shower instead with a bucket behind the kitchen door.  The church basically has adopted this family by providing all they need for the kids to attend school; school supplies, uniforms, and tutoring in order to follow their progress.
In Matthew 28: 19-20 says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
The part I love about this is “make disciples of all nations”.  In reflecting on this in my quiet time I see that in order to disciple you have to teach how to become a follower of Jesus.  We can evangelize but it is so very important to know how to translate this into practical life, teaching followers of Jesus to obey His word.  The Lord put this very needy family into our church family to challenge us as a body to care in a more impacting way by making a difference practically, meeting their physical needs, and more importantly their spiritual needs teaching them how to apply God’s word in their everyday living.
Well what has been the result of this practical discipleship?  The kids are now more consistent in their school attendance, they are more orderly in their persona and in their home life.  And the most powerful of all – Juan Manuel Sr. came to church on Sunday and came forward for prayer!  He has struggled so much with alcohol that many a day his children have been left hungry as he returns after a week of work with no money in his pocket.  Well this Sunday he came to church and I believe the Lord really touched Him as Pastor Bill taught in Philippians chapter 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”  God is completing the work He has started in this family; simply because we as a body have taken the time to give them a “cold cup of water”.  Because Bill and I can see everyone from the pulpit, (him teaching, me translating) we can see all the faces.  Juan Manuel was completely attentive!  In the past he was so embarrassed that he wouldn’t even come into the church.  God is so amazing and “will” complete the work he has started in His children!  The most beautiful thing about this as shepherds of His flock is to see how the body of Christ as learned to love them and have participated alongside us in bringing this family to those lovely feet of Him who brings Good News!
It is beautiful to watch this community of believers learning how to love the most unlovable, the destitute, the needy into the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Of course we thank the Lord for all of you as well who are far away who have been part of the great work the Lord is doing in our community through are church as you faithful have come behind us in encouragement, prayer support and with your financial support as we minister to His children here in Puerto Vallarta

A Happy Boy on His Birthday!

Calvary Kid's worshipping the Lord at our Christmas Festival 2011

"This is my prayer in the desert
When all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides..."
God loves to bless His little children and to use His Body to do it!  What a blessing it is to be part of those chosen to bring tidings of "Great Joy" to those who need a Savior!
"A newborn King to see...."
"He came to set the captives free...."
"I am a poor boy too....Pa rum pa pum pum..."
December 2011
Interesting that December 12 in Mexico is the day many celebrate “La Virgin Guadalupe”.  The streets fill up and stop traffic with processions in worship of a young girl dressed as the Virgin Guadalupe.  She is placed on a float decorated to the hilt followed by Mayan dancers and many local citizens singing worship songs to her as they make their way to the Centro of Vallarta.
In the US and Canada commercialism takes the center stage of the Christmas season and down here Mary does… The heart of our God must be so saddened.   Tomorrow everyone will go back to the everyday lives not necessarily changed or a better person due to their devotion.  This is what happens when we worship that which wasn’t made to take center stage.  Unlike those who fall down and worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, recognizing humbly that there is no one that is good, solely our Jesus.  Only He deserves adoration and worship and praise.  Only He makes that change and transformation in our lives which makes us better people and gives us true peace with His father.
Why do people get so stuck believing the lies of the enemy who has deceived them into believing that false worship will bring them true peace?   Materialism only brings debt and emptiness.  Idol worship only opens doors to more confusion and separation.  We live in dangerous times as we watch so many slip into eternity without the True Savior.
Our prayer during this Holiday season and the New Year which is quickly approaching is that Jesus will bring sight to the blind, help the spiritually lame walk, and use us to point the way to true fulfillment in His Son Jesus Christ.
God Bless you!
The Martin Family and the Body at
Calvary Chapel Puerto Vallarta

Won't you join us in Prayer:

Prayer Requests:
  • For those new lives that were surrendered to Jesus at the Outreach...that the Lord will guard the seed planted in their hearts by baptizing them in the Holy Spirit..

June/July Update

Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths.
You care for people and animals alike, O LORD. How precious is your unfailing love, O God!
All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.
You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your river of delights.

"For you are the fountain of life, The light by which we see.  Pour out your unfailing love on those who love you; give justice to those with honest hearts."  Psalm 36:5-12

Don’t you love how the Lord knows your needs even before you ask? How we can rest in Him knowing that He is watching your comings and goings and never sleeps. We have felt His loving care as we try to be faithful to feeding His flock. He loves His people more than we do and has made a way during these difficult times for the work to continue at Calvary Chapel Puerto Vallarta.

Many of you did not receive our last newsletter due to a circulation problem we had last month so I am praying that this one gets into your hands. I know you have been faithfully praying for this ministry and would like to share in the praises of our Lord in what He continues to do through the body at CCPV. Thank you for your love, prayers and support you have shared with us. God is truly faithful!

These last two months we have seen the fruit of the discipleship classes our Men, Women, and Youth have been receiving at the church as they are spending more time in the Word. In May we had a Women’s Conference based on the book “The Lies Women believe and the Truth that sets them free!” What a beautiful time it was!  Jim and Linda Mather were there behind the scenes helping Estie, Haniel, and Sarai getting all the prep-work done for the conference. Estie and Linda did a beautiful job decorating the church. Haniel and Sarai did a beautiful job preparing a book for each person…80 in all! Haniel is a graphic designer and did a great job designing the cover and formatting the book for printing.

Sarai translated the book so each woman could walk away with the key “Truth” verses to battle the lies! Four of us in leadership gave conferences touching on each chapter of the book. Our closing message was on “Lies we believe about our emotions and circumstances” and a challenge was given for the body to let go of those obstacles that were holding them back from walking in freedom. An altar call was made for those that wanted healing from emotional and physical problems. Can you believe everybody came forward! It was probably the most awesome worship service we have had this year. It was very special and we saw the body grow from God’s touch on their lives! The youth did an awesome job serving these ladies during the whole weekend. This was the fruit of them being touched at their Youth retreat the previous month! It is so beautiful to see the body ministering one to another. We are really, really being blessed!

We just concluded a couples dinner at the church with a message on Ephesians 5:21-33. We challenged the couples to take the “Love Dare” after watching the movie “Fireproof”. We had wonderful teaching, a wonderful meal, and a great movie!

The Lord really touched each couple. Please pray that the couples in the church will continue to be strengthened and that those that are not living rightfully before the Lord, simply because they do not know how, will continue to grow in their marriages.

Then going into summer we will be finishing up our school year at CCMS. We will have graduation where we will recognize the children for their “faithfulness” to stick out the entire year by awarding them a school supply voucher for next school year and a diploma. We will invite the parents so we can have the opportunity to share with them all that God has done in their children’s lives in hope that they will receive Christ as well. They will also be rewarded a food staple packet. It is sad to me that there are people out there that believe that it is not necessary to evangelize the world because

God already knows who will come into His kingdom, so why bother. The whole world needs to know that the Lord loves them and we love having this opportunity to reach parents through their children. Pray that they will be touched and that they will step into a relationship with the Lord and will desire to be discipled as well. The battle rages for souls and we want to cast the net in every opportunity we have. The kids love Jesus and we love them! We have had a wonderful year with them and are also planning on taking them on an end of the year field trip. We don’t know where exactly but we hope it will be the Water Park. If God makes a way for us to fund it we will go there or to the Vallarta Zoo. God again has been so faithful to provide this year for the children’s monthly food packets, materials to run the school and the all the needs of the Church. We believe He will keep providing!

Prayer Requests:
Pray for a new Calvary Church Plant in La Cruz de Loreto 2 hrs south of Vallarta. For Pastor Roberto and his wife Paloma and their 4 beautiful children. For their physical needs and for Roberto’s discipleship class with  Pastor Bill. Pray for another possible church plant in Las Palmas, community Northeast of Vallarta that is praying about coming under Bill’s discipleship,

Pray for Calvary Chapel Mission School…our roof leaks! The last concrete pour left much to be desired and we want to get it sealed before the rainy season starts. We want to assure that our interior is protected from humidity.

Pray for finances of the Church and for the Body. We are in the low-season and we don’t want the people of our congregation be stuck without food and shelter. Life is pricey down here but they have nowhere else to go. Pray that the Lord would bless their faithfulness in their walks with Him.

Pray for our summer outreaches that they will be a blessing to many and that God will strengthen us to do our best.

Pray for our leaders Jose Luis and Mari Molina and family. They are diligent in coming alongside us in the ministry but are truly a tent-making ministry! They have a business that needs their attention but in all their free time they serve in the church. Pray the Lord would make a way for them to take Mondays off.

Pray for all the discipleship classes that they would grow in numbers as the body becomes hungrier for the Word of God.

Pray for our youth. Pray that our youth would be faithful in reading the Bible every day.

Pray for our children as they mature into young ladies and a young man. That the Lord would keep them pure and walking uprightly before the Lord.
Praise Reports:
Thank you Lord for your constant faithfulness to your children! We are so amazed to see how you work, provide and surprise us every day!

We praise God for all the new believers. Pray they will exhibit fruits of repentance as they lay their sin down at the cross. That they would put off all the old man and take on all the wonderful things God has for them as they walk with Jesus.

We praise you Lord for a finished school year at CCMS and at home. Keep our kids walking with you as they learn more and put you in the center of their studies!

We praise the Lord for a body that has learned how to worship Him! Makes church really fun to hear them singing their hearts out!

Hola and thanks for checking in to our Blog. Renee and I have been staying busy with the ministry and I haven't had the opportunity to stay in touch lately to let everyone know what we are up to. In the last month or so we have done an outreach in a small town called Cruz de Loredo about an hour and an half from Vallarta and a Woman's conference here in our Church building. Both events went extremely well.

We took our youth team down to Cruz to do evangelism to help our new sister Church there which is the first none Catholic Church in the Town. We had clowns and Puppets and Drama and Singing. Through the whole event God's love was proclaimed and demonstrated. Our youth did and great job and even lead people in the sinners prayer.

The Woman's conference which we held about two weeks later was well attended by ladies form three or four different Churches plus a few that had no Church home. Renee, Mari Molina, Linda, Linda Mather, Maura Cathy all spoke and shared on the lies woman believe. The event started on Friday late afternoon and went through to Saturday night where we ended with communion and prayer. The Holy Spirit really touched many Woman's bodies and life's and no one wanted the worship time to end. The food and the decorations were very well done and I enjoyed being off stage doing sound or leading the worship times.

We are now praying that the momentum started at the conference will continue in the lives of these ladies and we will see them sharing their faith and what they learned with their friends.
